In this deeply transformational training you will activate your authentic purpose and voice, dive deep into the ancient wisdom and philosophy of yoga, and learn the bio-mechanical, therapeutic, and energetic alignment of every posture.
A deep and profound practice, Neelakantha Meditation is also easy to learn and do. It doesn’t take any particular skill or talent. It doesn’t require any particular belief. It is a practice of meditation that brings us into a deeply quiet, potent, and healing place within. With regular and consistent practice, the benefits of daily steeping in this inner place of wholeness, wisdom, and compassion begin to benefit our life in the world. Click on the meditation tab to learn more. Also, I invite you to visit www.BlueThroatYoga.com to learn more about this tradition and practice.
The amazing Natalie Piet and I will be co-teaching again (one of our favorite things to do!). This time we’ll be joining together to teach a benefit class as part of Yoga By Design Foundation’s Annual Yogathon. Yoga by Design Foundation is a nonprofit that raises money for the purpose of providing yoga, mindfulness and meditation practice, at no cost, to a variety of recipients – including, but not limited to persons with cancer, physical and mental disabilities, at-risk youth, homeless young adults, incarcerated young men and veterans healing from sexual abuse and PTSD.
This Yogathon class welcomes everyone who has an interest, regardless of experience. Let us come together and nourish ourselves while benefitting so many. Click here to buy a ticket or additionally support by purchasing a raffle ticket.
This immersion and teacher training are designed to immerse in the rich traditions and methodology of yoga and develop the skills and confidence to share this with others.
This 6 month training runs January 12, 2019 – June 16, 2019 and takes place over 12 required weekend intensives. Each Saturday is 12-8pm, and each Sunday is 11:15-6pm.
